Fracti Pixs, part of The Smackin’ Brand, is a photography movement built on one belief: there’s beauty in what’s broken.
When something is broken, more light gets out — touching others who are broken too. That’s where our lens lives.
We capture the cracks, the chaos, and the overlooked moments, turning fragments into stories and imperfections into art. Inspired by the raw energy of Times Square and the truth of the city, we focus on perspective over perfection.
This isn’t about flawlessness. It’s about connection.
Welcome to Fracti Pixs — where broken becomes beautiful.
Co-Founder, Fracti Pixs
Raised in East Harlem and now rooted in the electric rhythm of Times Square, Christopher D. Reed moves through New York with a sharp eye for truth. A father of two boys, a familiar face to Broadway audiences as part of the Schubert Organization’s stage door team, a gamer, and a dedicated student of streetwear, sneakers, and city culture—Chris is shaped by the layers of the streets he walks every day.
For years, he found himself more interested in framing life than standing in front of it. The camera became a way to document emotion, grit, movement, and humanity as it really is. That pull toward honest imagery led him to search for meaning in the imperfect—the chipped paint, the tired eyes, the late-night glow, the fragments most people pass by.
From that vision, Fracti Pixs was born.
Together, Chris and co-founder Ganai Finn set out to reveal a side of New York that refuses polish. Their work celebrates the cracks, the tension, and the poetry of everyday survival, delivering street photography in its rawest form.
Broken isn’t hidden here.
It shines.
